Christmas tree and poinsettias

For the fourth consecutive year, we are continuing our Holiday tradition of selling Christmas trees and poinsettias for the benefit of La Traversée Foundation, a beautiful palliative care home offering free end of life care to our community.

All orders can be picked up during our Market weekend which will take place on the weekend of the 24th, 25th and 26th, at Maison La Traversée, 5100 Montée Ryan, Mont-Tremblant. While on premise, we encourage you to take the time to purchase unique gifts generously offered by local artisans. All profits will benefit our palliative care home.

Thank you all very much and don’t hesitate to share!

Competition- The 2023 BBQ Season is now over !

The 2023 BBQ Season is now over, and we are very proud to announce that we have reached the amount of $14,500!

Thanks to all of you, we managed to make this campaign a great success by raising this huge amount through the sale of our raffle tickets. The formal draw took place on August 28 at La Traversée.

Mr. Larry Fields is the big winner of the draw, and his wife came to meet our Executive-Director, Mr. Tom Poitras, at La Maison La Traversée. Another meeting will take place later for the presentation of his prize, a magnificent BBQ with cover and accessories as well as the certificate for $450 of succulent meat.

We would like to thank all the ticket buyers, the volunteers, the merchants who sold our tickets, and Metro Mont-Tremblant, who offered us a special place for the last day of sales. Of course, a huge thank you to our precious sponsors GAGNONLa Grande Quincaillerie and Les Mercenaires Culinaires who have donated us these magnificent prizes for the last 3 years.

We hope to see you again next year for the 2024 BBQ season

Flower market

Our Second Flower Market, a Great Success!

We are very proud to announce the results of our second Flower Market, held on June 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2023.

It’s with great pleasure and gratitude that we reveal the total amount raised during these two weekends. Our flower sales reached a fabulous $35,250.

Thanks to the magnificent flower pots donated to us by Flo Canada, we were able to reach this sum, which exceeded our expectations. Every flower purchase was entirely donated to La Traversée Foundation.

We would like to thank each one of you who came to make your flower purchases. Your contribution to La Fondation La Traversée ensures that our hospice can continue to offer free, quality and compassionate care in beautiful surroundings.

This wonderful result would not have been possible without the help of the Houle family, owners of Flo, who have been donating poinsettias and Christmas trees for our Christmas Market and annual flowers for our Flower Market for the past 3 years. We are infinitely grateful.

The Smile Cookie Campaign is now over!

The Smile Cookie Campaign in collaboration with the two Tim Hortons in Mont-Tremblant is now over!

We are extremely pleased with the success of the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Week and are thrilled to finally reveal the results.

It is with great pride that we announce that we’ve received the sum $9,413.44 from the Smile Cookie campaign.

Each of you who has purchased a cookie has thus contributed to the financing of our palliative care home and helps us maintain free admission to our residents. We are truly grateful for your participation.

A huge thank you to everyone!

Christmas market 2022

The magic of the holiday season

We are very pleased to present the results of our third poinsettia and tree sale, as well as our Christmas Market held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December 2022.

It is with a heart full of joy and gratitude that we announce that this weekend’s sales brought in a total amount of $65,202 for the Fondation La Traversée!

This wonderful result would not have been possible without the help of many sponsors, artisans and volunteers.

We would like to thank each and every one of them and we invite you to encourage the businesses and organizations that support our mission and respond when we need them.

Please note that this list is random and in no particular order.

A sincere thank you to all our volunteers who helped us during the weekend. You were generous with your time and your involvement before and during the Market was a success factor for the Foundation.

Thank you to all of you who, through your purchases, helped make this event a huge success! The funds raised will be used to continue to provide care, comfort and well-being to our residents at the end of their lives as well as support to their families.

We are very grateful to you!

Poinsettias and Christmas tree sale

The tradition that comes from the heart...

We are extremely pleased to present the preliminary results of our Christmas Market and the sale of our poinsettias and Christmas trees for a total amount of $65,202.

The Maison La Traversée is filled with warmth and light, thanks to each and every one of you. Without your support and encouragement, it would be difficult, if not impossible, to achieve such good results.

We would like to thank all the people who attended the event, whether they bought on site or online, and our precious sponsors, especially FLO Canada, to whom we owe all the magnificent poinsettias and trees for sale. Without your help, this event would never have been possible 3 years ago.

We would like to thank the wonderful team that is involved with our House. Your empathy, compassion and generosity allow us to be present in our community and make a difference for our residents. Each of you contributes your talents so that the Foundation’s mission can continue to be fulfilled for each person who walks through our doors.

A million thanks to all of you, beautiful community, you are the reason for this success!

24h Tremblant

It is with great pride that the Fondation La Traversée announces that we are involved with the 24h Tremblant charity event.

Several volunteers have mobilized to form a team that will do ski touring for 24 hours, from Saturday, December 10th at noon to Sunday, December 11th at noon.

The 24h Tremblant is a sports challenge in teams of 6 to 12 participants who take turns for 24 hours in one of the five proposed events: ski touring, alpine skiing, walking, running or hybrid mode (walking and running).

The registered teams participate in a fundraising event where all profits are donated to three major foundations dedicated to the cause of children: the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, the CHEO Foundation and the Tremblant Foundation.

This year, the organizers have announced several new features, including alpine touring as a new discipline and the possibility of four skiers per team at a time on the trail.

More than a sporting challenge, the 24h Tremblant provides an unparalleled experience to participants and visitors thanks to the many activities where generosity, emotions, fun and surpassing oneself are combined.

Last year, the 24h Tremblant surpassed its initial fundraising objectives with $4,011,126 raised to advance the cause of children through three major foundations, and the Fondation La Traversée wants to help reach new heights!

We are participating in this event to raise awareness of “La Traversée” and to participate in the community fundraising effort.

We need your financial participation to help us raise $1,800 to make children’s hearts shine!

Many thanks to all of you!

This Campaign has ended. No more pledges can be made.
