For a sixth year, we are pleased to launch our BBQ Season Campaign, a wonderful initiative that helps raise funds for La Fondation La Traversée.

Thanks to the generous support of Gagnon – La Grande Quincaillerie, we are happy to offer a draw for a magnificent Napoleon Rogue PRO 625 SIB BBQ, including a 20 lb propane tank, cover and accessories.

This exceptional prize, valued at $2,246, is sure to delight any BBQ enthusiast!

Festive lobster

🦞 A heartfelt thank-you for the success of our Lobster Dinner! 🦞

On June 17, La Traversée had the pleasure of hosting its Lobster Dinner in a remarkable and festive atmosphere.

During this wonderful evening, 137 guests enjoyed delicious lobster or a tasty alternative menu, accompanied by a variety of salads and gourmet desserts.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, this event raised the wonderful amount of $25,000. These funds will directly contribute to maintaining the operations of our essential palliative care home, allowing us to continue offering free care, support and comfort to people at the end of life and their loved ones.

A very special thank-you to our grocery partner, Metro Mont-Tremblant, who generously donated the lobsters for this evening. Your generosity greatly contributed to the success of this event.

A sincere thank-you as well to the entire Grand Lodge Tremblant team for their warm welcome and excellent service.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended, to our partners, our volunteers and our entire community for your generous support.

On June 6 and 7, we held our Flower Market in support of La Fondation La Traversée.

Despite uncertain weather, so many of you came out to support us… so many, in fact, that we sold everything! Thanks to your incredible support, this event allowed us to raise an outstanding total of $76,000. 💐

A heartfelt thank you to the Houle family of Flo Canada, who have been generously providing us with exceptional-quality plants for the past 6 years. Thanks to their great generosity, we are able to raise essential funds that help us continue La Traversée’s mission: to provide free care, support and comfort to people at the end of life and their loved ones, in an environment filled with dignity and compassion.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our wonderful volunteers, led with energy and generosity by our dynamic duo, Nicole and Maurice. Your dedication makes all the difference.

2026 Smile Cookie campaign

The 2026 Smile Cookie Campaign: A Great Success for La Traversée Foundation

The La Traversée Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire community for its support during Tim Hortons’ 2026 Smile Cookie Campaign. Thanks to the generosity of customers, volunteers, participating merchants, and the Tim Hortons Mont-Tremblant team, an exceptional amount of $25,383.41 was raised for the hospice.

This year, Mont-Tremblant ranked first in the Laurentians, a result the entire community can be proud of.

The photo shows Mr. Tom Poitras, Executive Director of La Traversée Foundation; Ms. Christine-Carole Verdon, Executive Assistant; and Mr. Sofiane Benmaghnia, owner of Tim Hortons Mont-Tremblant, accompanied by team members who contributed to this remarkable success.

The funds raised will help support the mission of La Traversée, which provides free care, lodging, and support to people at the end of life and their loved ones. A huge thank you to everyone for this wonderful outpouring of generosity.

Lobster dinner 2025

We are pleased to invite you to a lobster dinner organized for the benefit of our palliative care home. 

Open since September 2021, La Maison La Traversée offers, free of charge, exceptional accommodations, and compassionate palliative medical care to end-of-life patients and their loved ones. La Traversée is located in a beautiful historic building on an enchanting site in the heart of the Laurentians.

Your participation in this event will directly contribute to supporting our mission and ensuring the continuity of our services, which largely depend on the generosity of our community. Come share a delicious meal, strengthen bonds of friendship and collaboration, and support a noble and essential cause.

– An alternative menu will be offered for those who do not want lobster.

By purchasing delicious Tim Hortons’ Smile Cookies, freshly baked and decorated by our volunteers, you help maintain the free services offered to people at the end of life. Thanks to your support, La Maison La Traversée will be able to continue offering quality palliative care, surrounding residents in a warm and attentive environment, while providing relief to their loved ones.

When you buy a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie you are making a donation to La Fondation La Traversée, because every dollar is donated! Only $2 per cookie!
