If you can volunteer some of your time, on a regular basis, you will be helping la Maison to realize its key objectives. Whatever your interests, your availability and your experience, you can make a significant contribution to the success of Maison’s activities.
Volunteer activities
There are many volunteer opportunities available to you. We do our best to place you in your area of interest so that your experience is as rewarding as possible.
Our volunteers are valued and play an important role at La Traversée. Your support greatly contributes to the achievement of our mission. Here are a few examples of what you can do to help us:

The person who would like to volunteer should:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Commit for a minimum 6-month period
- Fill out the Volunteer Registration Form
- Go to an interview following their file review.
- Follow a training program once accepted.
It is highly recommended that anyone who has recently experienced a loss, illness, or a break up, should wait at least 12 months, before applying.
