Un grand succès pour notre troisième Marché de Fleurs !

Our Third Flower Market, a Great Success!

Un grand succès pour notre troisième Marché de Fleurs !

We are very proud to present the results of our Flower Market, which took place on June 1st and 2nd, 2024.

It is with great joy and gratitude that we reveal the total amount raised during this exceptional weekend: our flower sales reached the fabulous sum of $41,000.

Thanks to the beautiful floral arrangements offered by Flo Canada, we exceeded our expectations. Every purchase of flowers, tomato, and strawberry plants was fully donated to the La Traversée Foundation, allowing our palliative care home to continue offering free, quality care in a peaceful environment.

We would like to warmly thank each and every one of you for your purchases and support. Your contribution makes all the difference.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, whose help in the preparation and sales is essential to the success of this event. You are the driving force behind our mission.

Of course, this wonderful result would not have been possible without the invaluable help of the Houle family, owner/operator of Flo Canada, who have generously supported us for four years with their poinsettias and Christmas trees for our Christmas Market, as well as their beautiful floral arrangements for the Flower Market. We are infinitely grateful to you.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2025 Flower Market!

Smile Cookie 2024

It is with great joy that we received a check from Tim Horton, representing the result of the Smile Cookie Campaign.

Thanks to all of you, our wonderful community, we have exceeded the goal we hoped to reach. All your purchases and shares on social media have allowed us to collect the extraordinary amount of $10,076.75 The campaign was so popular that we ran out of cookies and could have undoubtedly increased this extraordinary result! We’ll be ready for next year!

We sincerely want to thank the very generous owners of our Tim Hortons in Mont-Tremblant, Ann Brayley and Peter Arzenshek, as well as all their employees who participated in this magnificent success. Without you, this fundraising for our palliative care home wouldn’t take place and we would be deprived of donations that are extremely precious to us to continue our mission.

A huge thank you to Mr. Mathieu St-Cyr, Senior Manager, Regional Marketing, province of Quebec, for the support offered to small organizations like ours. Thanks to the place you make for us in your campaign, you offer us a wonderful opportunity to get known and to collect the amounts so precious for the survival of our House.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, always present and involved at La Traversée. Without your help, it would be difficult, if not almost impossible, to be present when a fundraising opportunity like the Smile Cookie campaign arises.

And again, 10,076 times THANK YOU to our wonderful community that supports and encourages us at every charitable event. We are blessed to count on the strength of your numerous shares and your enthusiasm in doing so.

We’ll see you NEXT YEAR with a higher goal and also more cookies to sell.
