Chantal Roussel has always been a builder and business woman. She is the founder of three insurance companies in the Upper-Laurentians, and editor\/co-owner of 3 newspapers. Whether it is of a social, artistic or economic nature, her involvement in various large-scale projects in her community is always in connection with sharing her values that aligns with her passions.<\/p>

From the time that Chantal volunteered with people at their end-of-life, she knew that she would make it her mission to build a nursing home in our region. It would be a warm and loving environment for both the patients and their family and under the care of professionals.<\/p>

For Chantal, whether climbing to the Everest base camp, participating in triathlons or trekking the Camino de Santiago on her own, she attacks every adventure with passion and determination. The experiences Chantal has encountered in life provide her with the leverage to take up this new challenge of building a palliative home for people at their end-of-life.<\/p>

Chantal\u2019s vision is: \u201cI love life with a capital L; the end-of-life is only one step. Sharing this special moment is as important as sharing a birth.
